University Operations and Sustainability
The University of Melbourne is working towards achieving sustainability in all of its campus activities and functions, namely its research, teaching and learning, knowledge transfer, information technology and communication systems, property services, and administration.

On 18 April 2012, Vice-Chancellor Professor Glyn Davis opened the Campus Sustainability Centre. The Centre showcases related research being undertaken across the campuses and informs and engages on all aspects of sustainability at the University. It is located on the ground floor of the Walter Boas Building (Building 163), entrance from Monash Road.
