Interdisciplinary Seed Funding Projects

The University of Melbourne Interdisciplinary Seed Funding Scheme is an initiative of Melbourne Research. It provides funding to address complex problems facing society with solutions that demand an interdisciplinary approach. It seeks to support research activities that: will benefit from short-term seed-funding; will lead to new interdisciplinary collaborations; can identify strong opportunities for external funding; and are consistent with the broad research objectives of one or more of the Melbourne Research Institutes or designated emerging areas. This scheme will run for four years (2010-2013) in the first instance.
